FAQ

  • What do I need to know before and after feeding fresh diet?
Make sure you follow our Transitioning and Feeding Guide. It is important to gradually mixing the food over a 10-day period, sometimes maybe even longer. Keep an eye out for an upset stomach, which can happen during a diet change. Your dog should be drinking its usual amount of water and its drops should be firmer and maybe less frequent. Be patient and don't get discouraged if your dog doesn't adjust to the new diet right away. This is because their body has been used to kibbles forever. A sudden change in look and taste might intitally scare them but be patient! Slow and steady always wins the race!
  • Do I need to heat or cook the food?
No, our WooFood packs are delivered ready to serve. Most dogs like their food cold or at room temperature. But if you have a picky eater, try warming it up by soaking the pack into luke-warm water. This may boost up their appetite. To preserve its nutrients, we do not recommend microwave.
  • Do I need to refrigerate the food?
Yes! Our freshly made WooFood packs donʼt use any preservatives. Once a pack is defrosted without opening, it should be kept in the fridge and consumed within 7 days. Any opened packs should be kept in the refrigerator and consumed within 3 days. Unopened frozen packs can be kept in the freezer for 3 months.
  • How much food does my dog need each day?
It depends on your dog's age, weight, breed, life stage and activity level. A puppy at its growing stage will require more calories in its meal than a moderately active adult dog. Our meals are precisely portioned for your dog so you don't need to worry. Just keep your dog's profile updated and we will adjust the amount of food for your pups as they grows.

  • What if my dog has a sensitive stomach?
We as humans know how bad it feels when it comes to an upset stomach, but so do dogs. It can be caused by numerous reasons such as allergies, changes to a new diet, etc. So it is important to monitor the transition for over a period of 10 days. We will include a Transitioning and Feeding Guide in your first order for your reference.
  • Do I need to consult my veterinarian before switiching to WooFood fresh diets?
Why not... especially if your dog has special dietary requirements, allergies, or health issues. Just almost every veterinarian agrees that fresh and real ingredients are most nutritious and healthy for all dogs.
